Wines of the San Juan held its 12th annual wine and Shine classic car show on Sunday, August 17th, drawing hundreds to Blanco, New Mexico for an afternoon of viewing vehicles and tasting local wine. You are watching the local News Network brought to you by Ace Hardware of Farmington and Three Rivers Brewery. I am Sadie Smith. An estimated 500 people made their way to the winery where more than 60 vehicles, ranging from sports cars to classic rotting custom vintage cars. Were on display.

We see quite a broad range of vehicles. We've got motorcycles that come. We have newer cars, newer sports cars. We've got antique vintage cars, we've got classic cars, so it's, it goes from the 1930s up all the way up until 2025.

This event brought together wine lovers and car enthusiasts to the San Juan Winery at the base of Navajo Dam, surrounded by sandstone cliffs and ancient cottonwood trees.

Everyone here spends lots and lots of money investing into these vehicles and making them as beautiful as they are, and it's just a great place to come out and get together and relax again, not on a pavement in some cool, beautiful shade and surroundings.

It's not just about wine and fancy cars. Wines of the San Juan host this annual event as a way to connect with the community.

We have internationally awarded wines, but it's not pretentious. That's not our vibe or what we're trying to do at all. Just down home, kind of like we're, we're just friends. You know, we're a business and there's that aspect, but we're also friends of the community and I just want people to come here and feel good and go home and say, wow, I want to go back there again.

This event returns next year. The winery also hosts Sunday music events through September in a Harvest Festival in the fall. View their website for additional details.
