Tickets are now on sale for the Four Corners Professional Women's Summit this November. Registration is now open for the Road Apple Rally, America's longest continuously running mountain bike race. Dining with the Dead returns, learn about Farmington's history with this unique beloved event. And Chili in October-fest is looking for vendors and applicants for this year's event. Tickets are now available for the 2024 Four Corners Professional Women's Summit. The event will be November 6th and 7th with a speed networking event and reception on the 6th and the summit on the 7th. Tickets are $100 for the two days, or $40 for Tuesday only. First started in 2019, the summit has gained popularity, offering unique networking and membership opportunities for participants from the Four Corners and beyond. You can find event information and tickets on the website, but do hurry as tickets sell out quickly. Registration for the 2024 Road Apple Rally is now live. The October event marking the continuation of the road race includes two days of rides and community events. The traditional 15 and 30 mile loops in the Glade Run recreation area are back and this year the rally is introducing a criterium race, a pro rider panel, and a 4.4 mile sprint course. Early bird registration closes Friday, August 16th and regular registration continues after. Learn about past winners and find detailed maps on the Road Apple Rally website. Tickets for the Rio Del Sol Kiwanis 11th Annual Dining with the Dead are now on sale. You'll visit with some of Farmington's earliest pioneers from the 18 and 1900s while touring the Greentown Cemetery. Tickets are $30 and include the tour and dinner the event to September 7th and tours start at 4:00 PM. Dinner is served between 4:30 and 6:00 PM and the final tour will leave at 6:00 PM. Pick up your tickets at Howard's Cleaners and Artifacts. Don't miss the hottest event of the year, Chili in October-fest returns Saturday, October 5th. Do you have a green or red chili recipe you think is the best? Or do you want to dust off your pozole recipe? Applications are open for the 14 spaces for the cook-off. Spaces are open to home cooks and restaurants alike. If you're not a chef but still want to participate, vendor spaces are available for $50 a day.
