From the class 5A runners up, Piedra Vista, Kaden Peace, Xavier Lefebre, Jacob Schrueder, Zach Mora-Dotson, Jacob Ramstead and Dax Vigil. The city of Farmington announced that it will no longer pursue the acquisition of a San Juan Generating station on December 20th. The decision comes after a loss during arbitration hearings between the city and the public service company of New Mexico, or PNM, to delay the decommissioning of the facility. According to Mayor Nate Duckett, the work stated by PNM had undermined the viability of the city's plan to implement a carbon capture project at the station.
