Swing into spring with the Piedra Vista High School baseball team. Calling all math nerds to claim your slice of pie. And Northern Edge Casino wants you. You're watching the "Local News Roundup," brought to you by Durango Motor Company and Home2 Suites. I'm Connor Shreve. The crack of the bat and the pop of the glove means spring is in the air pie. Piedra Vista High School hosts the Piedra Vista Baseball Invitational at Ricketts Park, Thursday, March 13th through Saturday, March 15th. Local baseball talent will be on display all three days from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the Ricketts Park box office for $8. E3 Children's Museum and Science Center celebrates Pi Day, Friday, March 14th. Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Because the number is 3.14, it's celebrated during the third month of the year on the 14th. The Pi Museum will serve pie of the baked variety and have plenty of pie related activities from three to 5:00 p.m.. Events are free and open to all ages. Northern Edge Navajo Casino will host a career fair, Tuesday, March 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Cedar Bow Lounge. Bring your resume and be ready to interview.
