You're watching the local News Roundup, brought to you by Durango Motor Company and Sunray Park Casino. I'm Connor Shrieve. Celebrate Four Corners Celtic culture at the Aztec Highland Games and Celtic Festival Saturday, October 5th and 6th. The event features a wide variety of live music, including local bands, traditional Celtic music groups and more. All are encouraged to try out for the traditional Highland Games, which include events like the Caber Toss, Scottish hammer throw, and the Bramer stone. There are categories for everyone regardless of experience, but make sure you pack your kilts to participate. Cost is $20 for the whole weekend or $15 for just Sunday. Gates open both days at 9:00 AM. The River Reach Foundation is hosting the 2024 Animus River Jam, Saturday, September 28th from 12 to 5:00 PM at the Farmington Museum Terrace. Enjoy the river and catch the leaves changing while enjoying live music from local groups. The jam coincides with a free fishing in New Mexico weekend, so bring your rod, reel bait and a comfy chair to enjoy the free fishing derby at the All Veterans Memorial Park. Prizes will be awarded for three categories, 12 and under, 13 to 17 and 18 and up. The city of Farmington will be stocking the Animus River ahead of the event. Wines of the San Juan invites you to its Harvest Festival. Two days celebrating the harvest in San Juan County. The festival runs September 28th and 29th, and we'll include live, music, food and drink along with family friendly activities. Don't forget to sign up for the great grape stomp. Teams of two will compete to see who can stomp the most amount of juice from 30 pounds of grapes in three minutes. Teams will also be judged on costume creativity, enthusiasm, and teamwork. You can find tickets online. On September 18th, San Juan Regional Health Center announced the relocation of the Health Information Management Department. The HIM is now located at 300 West Arrington Street, suite 101.
