The City of Farmington has announced events for the 9/11 Day of Service in conjunction with the National Memorium. On Saturday, September 9th at 7:45 AM, come join the memorial stair climb at Ricketts Park from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available with Child Haven, the Buckhaven Park neighborhood, Farmington Lake, and several senior living homes. On Sunday, September 10th, bring a flag for the memorial flag walk at Berg Park. Meet at the Farmington Civic Center at 4:00 PM to walk in honor of those who have lost their lives, and those who continue to serve our communities every day.
